Skyscraper

Some call skyscrapers the epitome of human desire to reach the heavens, to keep pushing forward, upwards. Since the mythological times of the Tower of Babel, mankind has tried to touch the stars. With landmark buildings now approaching the height of 1km, our skylines dwarf the individual existence. Some of these man-made mountains house thousands of people, and shape their lives. The challenge for the builders remains: to let the individual breathe while lifting us higher and higher.
